I would like to thank you for a wonderful long weekend with you at Cober Hill.

I did set off with some trepidation as it was the first journey, apart from visiting family, that I had done since the passing of my husband last year.  I needn't have worried, I was made to feel most welcome from the very start.  The staff at Cober Hill are just what you need after a long journey.

The course itself was great, Annie was so professional yet she made us all feel at ease from the beginning.  Compared to the others on my course I was very unprepared - having to quickly find a poem to illustrate by looking online!  All worked out well in the end.

The weekend certainly reawakened my love of watercolours and they have been dusted off and used again since returning home.  Thank you for your time and expertise in organising and it was a pleasure to meet you all.

The birthday cake will always be remembered, thank you.

Just to say that this weekend's course at Cober Hill was excellent. Thank you all for the work that must have gone into it. It was really relaxing to feel that everything had been so thoroughly organised - the classes themselves, all the art equipment provided and also the general atmosphere created, with introductory drinks, access to tea/ coffee/ water all day, someone always on hand to ask or sort anything. It was also great that my partner could join me and enjoy his local walks while I attended the classes.

Cober Hill is an inspiring and peaceful place, full of character - from the lovely surrounding gardens to the gorgeous "Bloomsbury group" style communal areas. Lovely weekend, lovely people and it inspired me to sort out all my old, untouched for a few years, art stuff to motivate myself to take it up again.

Our tutor was very knowledgeable, supportive and really encouraged us, establishing a relaxed but very focused atmosphere to allow us to accept our varied individual styles whilst feeling supported to try new things. I also loved the film shows every evening.

Just another word about the venue - our room was spotless, quiet and we thought the food was really lovely and the Cober Hill staff were also really welcoming and approachable. In all a fantastic experience.
