Join professional mosaic artist Sue for a delightful and creative day making your own unique vintage mosaic in a beautiful decorative shape. This fun, friendly, and informal workshop gives you the opportunity to rummage through a wonderful collection of vintage china, glass, and porcelain to create your very own mosaic. Choose from a variety of charming shapes including birds, hares, bees, hearts, fish, flowers, and many more. Sue will guide you through the entire process, showing you how to cut tiles effectively and how to arrange your pieces to create a dynamic mosaic full of movement, flow, and personality. Whether you prefer a traditional look or something more contemporary, you’ll be encouraged to develop your own creative style. You’re welcome to bring along any special piece of china or sentimental item you’d like to include in your design. All the tools and materials you will need are included, this includes a wide selection of vintage china, glass, and porcelain. Inspirational example pieces will also be available to view. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, no previous mosaic experience is necessary. It’s a relaxed, joyful day of creativity where you’ll leave with your own beautiful handmade mosaic piece to treasure. Sue is a professional mosaic artist, qualified teacher, and community artist. Since 2007 she has worked on numerous public and private projects across the UK, bringing colour, creativity, and joy through mosaic art. A perfect workshop for anyone who loves vintage treasures, handmade crafts, and creating something truly unique. Booking & Cancellation Policy Payment Options You can pay in full at the time of booking via card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal, or choose to pay a 25% deposit and pay the remaining balance 45 days before the event. Cash payment can be made in person at the school, shop or venue. Deposits A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on Workshops, Courses and Residentials. This deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. Balance Due If you pay by deposit, the remaining 75% balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the start date. We will send you a reminder email with a payment link. Cancellation Policy Courses & Workshops More than 8 weeks before start: Full refund minus £20 admin fee. 4–8 weeks before: 70% refund. 2–4 weeks before: 50% refund. Less than 2 weeks before or after start: No refund.
