WELCOME
Welcome to North Yorkshire Art School (Est. 2020), the region's best provider of classes, courses, workshops and residentials.
We also run an art supplies & book shop (Est. 2022) now on Scarborough's main high street and this year marked the launch of a new gallery which is situated right next to the Grand Hotel in Scarborough.
NYAS Venues
The North Yorkshire Art School Shop located at 79 Newborough in Scarborough (opposite M&S), first opened at the school in November in May 2022 and was initially a way for us to promote, and sell the work of artists who attend North Yorkshire Art School.
Since then, we have expanded. We now stock a huge range of high-quality art supplies and art books.

The North Yorkshire Art School Gallery is located at
34 St Nicholas Cliff, Scarborough.
We have a strong programme of exhibitions planned for 2027 and beyond, building on a history of over 50 previous exhibitions managed and curated by Christopher Shaw at the school and under the previous banner of Three Works.

Every week, about 150 people come through our doors and get access to a range of classes, courses and workshops which enables a suck-it-and-see experience.
From life drawing and printmaking to painting and stone carving, our offer is bold and audacious and is actually, in real life, fostering a strong artistic community.
