Join our relaxed, pay-as-you-go weekly crochet class with experienced tutor Lisa Silver at North Yorks Art School in Scarborough. Perfect for complete beginners through to more experienced crocheters looking to refine their skills or explore new techniques. Each session offers a supportive, flexible environment where participants bring their own project ideas, patterns, or inspirations, whether starting a simple granny square blanket, tackling amigurumi, experimenting with textured stitches, or working on personal gifts. Lisa is always on hand to provide personalised guidance, troubleshoot challenges, demonstrate new stitches or methods, suggest creative variations, and share fresh ideas to keep your work progressing at your own pace. This drop-in style format allows you to attend as often as suits your schedule, no long-term commitment required, making it ideal for building confidence gradually, enjoying the therapeutic rhythm of crochet in a friendly group setting, and creating beautiful handmade items while benefiting from Lisa's expert encouragement and wealth of knowledge in traditional and contemporary crochet practices. Free tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please bring your own materials and hooks. Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy Payment Options Customers may choose to pay in full at the time of booking or pay on the day of the class. You can pay in full at the time of booking via card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal, Cash payment can be made in person at the school or shop. Cancellation Policy Our Cancellation & Refund Policy (applies alongside statutory rights): • More than 7 days before the class: Full refund minus £5 administration fee, or a full credit to your customer bundle. • Between 7 days and 48 hours before the class: At our discretion, we may offer a rescheduled place within the following month. No refund will be given. • Less than 48 hours before the class or after the class has started: You will forfeit the full amount paid. No refund or credit to a bundle will be issued. Rescheduling / Transfers Rescheduling is only available at our discretion as outlined above. You may transfer your place to another person with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to our approval.
