Wednesday Evening Gel Plate Printmaking

Delve into the vibrant, playful and endlessly creative world of Gelli Plate Printing. Gelli plates are flexible, reusable silicon-based printing plates that allow you to create beautiful monoprints without the need for a press. Their wonderfully soft surface captures incredible texture and detail from almost anything you press onto them, from leaves and flowers to lace, bubble wrap, stencils and found objects. In this relaxed weekly class you’ll have the freedom to experiment with both oil-based relief inks and acrylic paint, each giving very different and exciting effects. You’ll learn how to build rich layers, play with colour mixing, and explore a wide variety of natural and man-made materials to create bold, vibrant and highly individual prints. Every week you’ll discover new techniques and approaches, gradually building a wonderful collection of unique prints while developing your own distinctive style. Whether you love abstract, botanical, or highly textured work, Gelli printing is incredibly addictive and wonderfully accessible to all levels. No previous printmaking experience is necessary, just bring your creativity and a willingness to experiment! Perfect for beginners and improvers alike. All materials and Gelli plates and paints are provided. Just come along and enjoy the fun. Booking & Cancellation Policy Payment Options Customers may choose to pay in full at the time of booking or pay on the day of the class. You can pay in full at the time of booking via card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal, Cash payment can be made in person at the school or shop. Cancellation Policy Our Cancellation & Refund Policy (applies alongside statutory rights): • More than 7 days before the class: Full refund minus £5 administration fee, or a full credit to your customer bundle. • Between 7 days and 48 hours before the class: At our discretion, we may offer a rescheduled place within the following month. No refund will be given. • Less than 48 hours before the class or after the class has started: You will forfeit the full amount paid. No refund or credit to a bundle will be issued. Rescheduling / Transfers Rescheduling is only available at our discretion as outlined above. You may transfer your place to another person with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to our approval.
